Barbara Arney is a fiscal year 2007 recipient of an Artist Initiative Grant from the
Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible in part by a grant from
the Minnesota State Arts Board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State
Legislature and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. This grant
is for for research, creative time, materials, and exhibition expenses for a series of
twelve plein air oil paintings that rely on the language of color to create
representational Minnesota landscape scenes. This work is presently on exhibit
at the Stillwater Public Library Gallery, 224 North Third Street, Stillwater, MN
(Library is closed on Sundays).
